EHT Machines from BTH Rugby

Rugby Radio Station’s EHT machines were made by British Thomson Houston Co. Ltd of Rugby and were installed into the Power House on 15th April 1925. Archibald Gill (later Sir Archibald Gill) who had previously worked for BHT, played a key role in the selection of Rugby as the site for the Radio Station and was responsible for specifying the EHT machine requirements.
